Forgiveness and Wholeness?Forgiveness is a major step that many of us forget to take in reaching our own personal wholeness. Why is forgiveness so important? Because when we forgive, we partner with the Kingdom, we act more like Jesus, and we become more like God.
It is often hard for me to remember that Jesus forgave while on the cross, dying. Yet that is exactly what happened. How strange it is for us then, to refuse to forgive someone who says something bad about us, steals from us, or hurts us in some other way. The truth is, no matter how large or small the offense against us is, we must forgive, and the sooner the better. When we do not forgive, we open the door for strongholds and other demonic influence. When we forgive, we partner with heaven, when we refuse to forgive, we partner with the demonic. The demonic culture is one of unforgiveness. That is why Satan is often called the "great accuser." Who would you rather be like? At Rhema Yoga and here at Rhema Wholeness, we work on understanding what it means to be forgiven, how to forgive others and ourselves, and more. Teachings, meditations and more go a long way in understanding God's culture of forgiveness in both body, soul and spirit. It is not enough to just intellectually understand the forgiveness of heaven. You must know God, and connect with Him, so that when offense comes, you can be more like Him.
